I upgraded kcontrol to 3.2.2 today and it's now only half working. It starts up fine, but now I have only limited items to select so that I can change them. For example, when selecting Appearance and Themes I only get "Window Decorations" instead of style, and the bunch of other options you are supposed to get.

If anyone has any idea how to get my missing options back I'd be really happy. I've also done a little bit of research and found someone else who had my problem. http://www.mepis.org/node/view/1964 However, they apparently have a Debian option in their menu and I do not see that with my kmenu. If anyone has any idea on what I need to upgrade or fix/delete please let me know.

Hi there...
I had the same problem once.. that was when I was upgrading from kde3.1 to 3.2. I fixed it by upgrading kdebase-bin package or so I remember. Do make sure the the base files (kdebase-data, kdelibs) are also of the same version.
