The WineHQ AppDB has comprehensive information on setting up and running WoW under Wine. See http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManage...sion&iId=14154

EDIT: From what I remember from when I played it, Blizzard's forums have several very useful threads on installing and running WoW under Wine. This appears to be the latest on their European forums http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread....sid=1&pageNo=1

You might consider installing VMPlayer (from WMware) or some similar system virtualization tool. This would still require to have a full Windows system installed within the virtual environment, but will give better results and compatibility then Wine (mostly). Even so, you would have both Windows and Linux without rebooting.
