Setting up PDA/desktop

I have a dell PDA which has Windows active sync, along with all my contacts & calendar. How do I set it up with Ubuntu Jaunty transferring my info from my PDA to desktop?

Thanks in advance.

but it seems as though support for these PDAs is dicey.
