Sendmail client configuration settings to smtp server


I have to enable sendmail client configuration on the linux server. I have separate smtp server, I want the sendmail to be configured for it.

Have a look at this nice post here at LQ. Scroll down until you find the "Client-Side SMTP AUTH + SMART_HOST" section.
