Unhappy SATA Harddisk Problems in Debian Etch


I have SATA Seagate Baracuda 320GB harddisk ...

After running my system for sometime
Sata harddisk gets shutdown on its own and is inaccessible after wards.

I got these messages using "dmesg | tail"

After this ...
i can't do any operation on the hard disk

when i mount the harddisk i get following error message ..

mount /dev/sda8
iget below message

mount: /dev/sda8: can't read superblock


All I/O operations fail on disk and /var/log/messages file contain below error

Is there any way i can turn on the harddisk again without rebooting my system ?
Or
Is this a driver issue in Debian .. Harddisk works find in windows ?

Your disk is dying. You should replace it ASAP.
