Remove programs from Gnome session properties

Hi @ everyone,

This afternoon I wanted two programs to auto-load on startup using Gnome (gmail notify and firestarter) so I added them to the Preferences > Sessions menu. Only now when I start Gnome either the session manager or 1 of these 2 programs crash, not allowing me to log in to Gnome again. I can log in to KDE or XFCE4 though. And of course these 2 desktop managers won't let me enter gnome-session-properties from the terminal.

My question is: Can I remove those 2 apps from the Gnome session manager from within either KDE or XFCE4? By editing a config file or so.
Thanks.

P.S. I'm using Ubuntu/Kubuntu 5.10

Problem solved, I got Gnome safe mode to work and removed the apps from the Gnome session manager. Thread can be closed.
