recover flash card using autopsy

Can someone help me mount a formated flash card and recover files using autopsy?

I am new at this but am willing to learn.

Have tried to mount using mount -t usbfs /dev/sda /mnt/flash
seems ok
dd if=/dev/flash of/home/file

end up with raw image that autopsy does not seem to want to let me recover files
Thanx
