ragarding linux device drvers


hi i am newbie to driver programming.can u please let me know the basic operation carried by the drivers in kernel with the control flow

the basic operation of ALL device drivers???

If you want to learn how to write device drivers, then the Newbie forum may not be the right place.
Try Software-->Kernel

Also--note the book "Linux Device Drivers" by Greg Kroah-Hartmann
