question about kernel


I'd like to know that how can I configure the kernel to support the ntfs file system.
if any one knows this,please help me.

either compile ur kernel with NTFS support or visit
http://sourceforge.net/projects/linux-ntfs/

Please go to the LQ UserCP and put your distro so that folks can better
help you. Some distributions have support for ntfs in the default kernel,
such as Mandrake 10.0 and Slackware 10.0 which I have installed.

And you should specify whether you mean read or write support.
