problems loading


hi guys
trying to run linux mandrake 9.2 and the install goes fine, then when i try to reboot to run it, it freezes when it says searching for new hardware, any ideas why?
any help greatly appriciated!

It may not fix oyur problem but I belive oyu can press C to skip the step, if you do you might be able to load the GUI an figure out the problem. If its not C its someother key, I know there is one, I found the answer somewhere else in this forum a while ago. Running Harddrak after loading the GUI is probably a good idea, it might be able to find the new hardware that it is stalling over.
