You have to give us way more information than just: it doesn't work.
- Which services do you want to set up?
- What have you done already, which configurations have you tried?
- Are there errors in the log files or on the commandline when you start the service?
I cant seem to get the commands right to correctly install the web server and the FTP server for my web hosting that I plan on utilizing for the ten PCs that I will have running. As for the installation it was successfully installed and I can connect to my server remotely its just I have no services. I am also just starting to use a linux based OS
Distribution: Mainly Devuan, antiX, & Void, with Tiny Core, Fatdog, & BSD thrown in.

Take a look on their forum, search, & read as much as you can about what you are trying to achieve - likely the quickest route. http://ubuntuforums.org/
Thanks guys I know my questions may soud a bit confusing but i am a student and new to the whole linux OS i also have several other classmates that is in my group i created so if you can help them also that would be much appreciated.
We want to help you, but with the tiny amounts of information you give us it is impossible to help you. Keep in mind that we are not sitting in front of your computer, so we can't know what you have done, which error messages you got and what you already have tried to fix them.
Unless you post that information for us we won't be able to do more than pointing you to some general instructions.
