Trying to log into REDHAT and when I enter the user name and password for root keeps telling me "AUTHENTICATION FAILED"
donīt know what to do, canīt login in to REDHAT
can anyone help me ??

hi, the CPAS is checked and IT IS CORRECT.
WHat happens is this:
The login is the same as I do every time, is in graphical mode. I really donīt know what is happening, yesterday i logon perfecty, I was having some problems with SAMBA, so I think there is the problem, but the issue now is that i canīt login even as ROOT, IMAGINE!!!!
when I type root and the pwd, happens to tell me: AUTHENTICATION FAILED....
please, help
