i am a complete linux noob .
i am using mandrake 10 and am trying to get an aac codec working as i have about 40 gb of aac files.
i have tried installing a few times using sh ./configure , make , make install and i keep getting this error :

i have installed glib from the mandrake cd v2 i think but am really stuck.
i love mandrake and if i crack this then windows is history.
