Precompiled application won't start (BlitzMax On Fedora5)
Hi,
I've just got a new laptop and installed linux on it for my first time, and first thing i wanted to do was try out blitzmax for linux, so i downloaded it from their website, but they do not pack it in a rpm or package, instead just precompiled binaries(I assume, no extension) but when i double click on them, nothing happens. I tried the terminal and had no luck.
It's definately a pre-compiled app cos I've got the pc version and the file name minus extension is the same.
I'm using Fedora 5 DVD version, with developement packages installed.
I've tried on both root and user accounts, with no luck.
Any ideas how I can run these? Do I need to download something or set something up?
Thanks
