Hi

I'm trying to set up a guest user account on my PC with opensuse slick. I would like to make it so that the guest user will have access to internet and applications but not to the other users personal files and directory. When I logged in with this new guest user I could read the files of my own user home directory. How can I define access for this new user account?

In Yast2 there are 2 users, my own account and the guest account. They are both members of groups: dialout, video, users.

Anybody know how to change the permission settings for the users?

Well you just set your home directory to -rw------- i.e. only the owner (and root) may read it. [In konqueror right click on home directory folder and select forbidden for 'group' and 'others'.]
