Old laptop Contura 430C and Slackware 7.1

Owning old laptop Compaq Contura 430C. I've seen nice site about contura 430c. Have downloaded Slackware 7.1 iso. My laptop is simple no CD, no NIC no USB ports either. I own special cable that I have used when installed Windows 95 operating system on my Contura. Took just my 2,5 inch hard disk out from my laptop and connected it to another home PC as slave. Boot PC with Partition magic 8.x floppies. Deleted existing partition and repartitioned it. If I then after booting up with floppy can install Slackware on my laptop ?
This might sound totally "strange", but I'm newbie with this kind of operating system(s). Of course I don't have same hardware on my home PC compared to Contura.

CONFIGURATION :

Intel 486 DX4 100 MHz processor
RAM 8 MB
Hard disk 720 MB
Display 10'4 TFT
Graphic card WD/Paradise 90C24
