Noob Dash question

Hi, sorry in advance for noob question:

In my Ubuntu Dash Plugins I see there is one for facebook. I don't use facebook for anything, ever. With that in mind why is the facebook icon there? Did it come with it, or have I accidentally installed it?

Thanks for any answers you can provide, I'm allergic to all things facebook so it's important that I work this out.
