Talking newby


G'ay all........1st timer here from Armidale ,Aussie. Trying out Zorin 8...might have a prob with installing a Canon MX926 printer....hope this OS works for me.

Hi and welcome to LQ. Give us a shout if you have problems with your Canon. You can find the linux drivers here:

Thanx JD.....I coulda been doing something wrong but didn't work for me......anyway I give it a shot. I will have to stick with win7 or XP so all the progs I can use properly. Bit too old to learn new tricks. Thanx again, I'll have another go later. Cheers.

It's a bit like calling the doctor and saying, "I don't feel well." and expecting the doctor to offer suggestions. You don't offer a lot of details about what you did and what the response to your actions was. Someone could help you if you provided a few more details, but if you're keen to get back to Windows....
Oh, and I'm probably a lot older than you are but who's counting?
