newbie need to linux chat.


i am newbie using mandrke 10.0+kde.

may i know is there any site for linux users chat?

i mean any website for solving linux doubt through chat?

linux chat? because i have problem with xchat IRC.

any othere common web?? help me.

Never heard of any good one. What's the problem you are having with xchat?. There're other IRC clients for Linux as bitchx. Gaim can also do that, not great, but good enough... Freenode has great channels, if you get IRC to work.

Konversation is another good chat client similar to xchat.

sir my problem with xchat is.

i am using proxy server (10.1.1.50)

my system having.

i think my ISP ((proxy server)) is not allowing xchat.

i think firewall.


in my system there is no firewall.
