need help go get LNKSYS wireless-b adpt instld


I am very very new to Linux and I need to know how to install a linksys wireless-b usb network adapter on a toshiba 330CDS laptop.I am running linux 2.4.29.

what distribution? what kind of toshiba laptop. A little more info would be more helpfull for the correct answers. Incorrect answers and the info you have given will be way more than enough.
