Music player to play MP3 songs in RHEL 6. Please tell hoe to install it.


I am using RHEL 6 in command mode. i.e. I haven't installed GUI mode in it, and I want to listen MP3 Songs so give me the link to download the music player and please guide , how to install it??

RHEL is generally designed for server usage. Why do you want it to play mp3s?

It sounds to me, based on this and your NTFS post, you may be using the wrong distro for the job..

Can you explain more about what you are trying to do with RHEL?

Go to the Mplayer site, and follow the instructions on how to install it.

Might help if you provide details, like what desktop environment you're using, what media player you're using, and what you've actually done/tried so far. Did you try to look this up, as it's been covered on this site, and has many other links in Google:
