Mp3 player (D Cube), can't mount after umount, in fedora 4

When I first connected the usb mp3 player to my computer I copied files from and to it - it worked fine and the files could be played (not when I copied entire directories though). The player presented itself as /media/usbdisk. After each time the player had been connected its display said something like "do not disconnect, wait" - this message didn't disappear. After some hours I disconnected the cable. No harm done, it worked fine the next times too.

But then I thought I'd do it right, and used the command umount usbdisk in the /media directory - I shouldn't have done that. Since then I've tried to mount the player again, without succes. I don't quite understand the mount man page, and now I need help.

I've tried for some hours to search in google and in Linux or Fedora forums but found no answers so far. Please help me, or give me an URL with the help I need.

what does your /etc/fstab file look like? In my experience, the automounting in Fedora is quite crap - things unmount themselves for no reason, and won't unmount when you want them to. I don't use Fedora any more, but I got around it by disabling automounting and just mounting things manually.
