Question min. harddrive size full install MD Linux


What is the Minimum hard drive size for a full install of Mandrake linux 9.0 my 1 gig didn't get it done .

Pentium Pro 200
64 megs of ram
Mandrake Linux 9.0
all of my old junk put together !

It depends entirely on how many packages you select, but for a reasonable desktp you will normally need about 3/4 gigs.

One tip - give yourself room to grow. If you like Linux, and we're sure you will , you don't want to find you run out of space too fast.
