memory usage


hi,
how can i check the memory usage of a process?

use the command top can tell you a lot. Also htop is great if you want some interactivity (being able to scroll and easily sort the columns, and use mouse if preferred)

Or if you really need to know the detail, "less /proc/<pid>/smaps"
