Mdk 9.1 mouse problem, please help..

Hi all, 1st time I've posted here and VERY new to Linux. My problem is this. I tried RH 9 and mdk 9.1, prefer mdk. I'm using a ms intellimouse. Standard optical 3 button mouse. It worked fine on RH, and during the mdk install, but when the desktop loads my mouse goes dead, off usb or ps2. I've tried std 3 button and ms intellimouse in the control center....what am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any replies...

Check your /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 (InputDevice section). What does it say?
I have a MS optical wheelmouse (PS/2) and it works fine in Mdk 9.1
I set it as Standard PS/2 wheelmouse in drakconf.

) and that took care of it. But I can see from the looks of 9.2 I'll be posting a few queries on it as well! Thanks again for your time jib2.
