MBR issue on Linux installation
Hi everyone,
I was trying to install Ubuntu on my laptop, and thing were going well until the cd driver stopped working (it won't read CD-R anymore).
Since it's a laptop, there's no floppy driver, and since the cd drive isn't working, I can't continue the installation nor load security software (such as SystemRescueCD)
The thing is that the installation setup had already messed with the MBR, so I get an "operating system load error" on the BIOS startup, and can't do anything...
Is there a way to format the MBR from the BIOS? Does anyone have a clue how may I solve this?
Thanks!
