mandriva 2010 no sound


Dear Mandriva ( :hattip ),
I have a year-old netbook, an eeepc, and I have linux mandriva 2010 on it. However, my sound does not work. I would love to play music form Pandora on it. Can you help me? I am a too!

Two things for you to do.

1. Open a konsole, run the command 'lsmod | grep snd' and post the results.

2. Run the command 'lspci' and post the results.

All commands without the quotes.

I assume you have the volume turned up, and nothing is muted?
