Mandriva 2008 dvd iso burning problem

Hi there, Im new here, my first post

Need help burning bootable Mandriva 2008 dvd iso.

I have downloaded .iso file from http://ftp.cica.es/Mandrake-iso/2008.0/. I downloaded just .iso file, not those .md5, .sha1 and so on... and tried to burn it in Nero. I have burned that as image, but when I tried to boot that, it did not... just black screen - no OS. Can anybody tell mi what did I do wrong?

Nero needs to be in DVD project mode, and you might need to set it to bootable DVD. I've heard of this problem before. I know you said you burned it as an image, but did the option you selected actually say, 'burn image?' Otherwise, md5sum it. There are md5sum programs for Windows.

Nero startSmart - burn image to disk, selected iso and let it burn...

Did check the md5sum of it?
