Mandriva 2006 Installation problem over wireless LAN

(I'm Indonesian, so please pardon my English)

Hi, I'm quite new to Linux... and I'm facing an installation problem. I'm planning to install (actually upgrade) Mandriva 2006 over WiFi LAN, since I don't have DVD drive on my target computer, and my Mandriva 2006 copy is in DVD. So, I my only solution is to insert the DVD into my laptop computer (which of course, it has DVD drive), and use WiFi connection (working connection, at least in Windows and Mandriva 2005) to install Linux. I know, I've followed the INSTALL.txt, I've successfully boot using the network.img-disk, but the installer looks like not knowing my WiFi Card. I've tried FTP, NFS, HTTP, all three.. without success. Then it a list came up containing .ko files, and I don't know which one to select. Whenever I select one item, it ask for parameter which I don't know.

So my question is, what to do now? Is there any driver to download so Mandriva 2006 will recognize my WiFi card? Thanks...

Ooh, by the way, my card is RaLink IEEE 802.11g. Been using Ra2500 driver in Linux (Mandriva 2005) without problem, I wonder if there's similiar driver for the installer.

Hum? well I wouldn't know about most of that, but surely if you know the make/model of the card, then isn't it better to google for it?

Or if one of the devices has a windows install and the card works ok with that, then maybe ndiswrapper is the way ahead ???

Sorry I can't be specific, I don't use wireless - wired is my connection of choice.

regards

John
