Lycoris login problem! Help!

About a month ago I Downloaded and installed Lycoris linux on to one of my PCs. I am a windows User and have really enjoyed this version of Linux. I know absolutly NOTHING about Linux. On my computer there are two login accounts. I can boot up regularly, up until the login screen. When I ltype in my username and password it accepts it and then starts to start up KDE. I goes nicely until It gets to initializing peripherals. Then, it stays there for a few minutes and then the the little screen that shows status goes away. THe pointer still says that it is thinking, but the hard drive light is not on. IT does this consistenly. I have not been able to log ion for a few days. There are no Hard ware or software changs I can think of. I have tried to reinstall Lycoris... well, kinda. It does not have a repair installation option so I opted not to reinstall it.

If you really enjoy Lycoris, I am assuming that you were able to log in at one time?? When were you no longer able to log in? After you changed something? Can you log in using any account? It sounds like you added something and then the boot problems started?

More details, please. It does not sound hopeless if you were able to get it going before.

Also, have a look here: http://www.lycoris.org/ That's the Lycoris community pages, they might mention your problem specifically, but if you post more details (when did the problem start, how did it change, that sort of thing) I am sure someone here can help...
