I cant get my networking to work! I have a cable modem connected to my router which goes to the five computers in my house. I can't get the internet or connect to my other computers. I am using SUSE linux. My network card is on-board. When i go to the control center, and work my way to local network browsing, an then i click on the LISa Daemon tab. I hit suggest settings and it says that no NIC card was found. Can someone help me...i need internet on that computer.
yes...i would first make sure if the card is supported since many of the ethernet cards on board their motherboards are not supported under linux.
i would suggest that you get a ethernet card...plug that in.
you can alo try to get this card working....go into YAST and check the networking options...(i dont really remember the whole drill now...it's been a while since i used SuSE).
