Hi, i've problems booting into windows xp (hdb1) with my lilo (installed at mbr, hda). Everytime i try to select windowsxp in my lilo menu i get nothing but hieroglyphes and after 2 secs or so the system halts.
i have the usual winxp stanza in my lilo.conf
other=/dev/hdb1
label=winxp
i'm using slackware and installed windows xp on my other harddisk (20gb primary master with linux, 160gb primary slave for stuff and windows). would grub solve this problem? what can i do?
PEACHDOG is on the right track. Your Windows partition now second fiddle, but it needs to think its first. I've answered this question several times (if you hit the search button under my post you'll see)
