Hello Everyone,

Can we create soft links and hard links on file systems..??

Like I am having one /var and /tmp

Can we create links on above file systems..>???

hard links are something used in special cases, I advise you to look up and fully understand how to and when to actually use a hard link, but soft links are easy.

#ln -s source destination
delete link
Code:
#rm destination (link)
usally done as root because it is usally used on the system side of the OS.
