Question Lenovo M1B1 notebook + Debian + wifi driver = ?

Hello again,

this is part or a continuation of https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...er-4175697003/ , which happened in the last 2 or 3 hours, at most. But the problem here is very specific.

Something changed: now, I am using firmware-edu-10.10.0-amd64-netinst.iso instead of debian-10.10.0-amd64-netinst.iso , used initially, to be able to use all the hardware.

In the middle of install process, I am given the network hardware detection procedure. Even though I should have a lot of drivers here, the procedure failed again. It complains about these files:

Code:
iwlwifi-7265D-29.ucode
iwlwifi-7265D-28.ucode
iwlwifi-7265D-27.ucode
iwlwifi-7265D-26.ucode
iwlwifi-7265D-25.ucode
iwlwifi-7265D-24.ucode
iwlwifi-7265D-23.ucode
iwlwifi-7265D-22.ucode
Searching around, I have found a thread in LQ that talks about similar files. A semi-positive search result. It talks about everything in a very nice way, see:

https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...er-4175542680/

But searching the Debian packages page with the instruction in it, does not give me all those files. From the 48 results of my search, only iwlwifi-7265D-22.ucode and iwlwifi-7265D-29.ucode . See:

https://packages.debian.org/search?s...ble&arch=amd64

But then I am lost. What to do?

You need to install it from 'non-free' software.
