Kernel Upgrade in Up2Date question

When upgrading the system throught up2date say kernel update, does it include all dependencies required as stated in the errata?

Also if trying to manually install a kernel upgrade, do you have to install previous kernel upgrades? Or are the fixes in previous upgrades included in the newest kernel upgrade?
