RH8 up2date kernel question

Ok, if this belongs in distribution specific forum I apologize. I'm a total n00b and just installed Redhat last night.
I updated my kernel through the Red Hat Update Agent and everything went smoothly, now on my bootloader I can load the original kernel or the new one. My question is do I need to remove the old kernel? If so, how? Thanks in advance for any responses.

No and it is a good idea to keep the old one while checking out the new one.
