KDE menueditor with wine progs

Hi

i am running a windows tool called traktor whit wine, everything works great.
Now i wanna add an item in my kde menu, so i started the kde menu editor
and added the following line at "command"

wine ~/.wine/fake_windows/Programme/Traktor\ DJ\ Studio\ 2/TraktorDJStudio2.exe

it just don't want to start. I have also tried

kstart wine ~/.wine/fake_windows/Programme/Traktor\ DJ\ Studio\ 2/TraktorDJStudio2.exe

which doesn't work either. Also if i check the box run in terminal it doesn't want to start.

Any hints on this??

try making a simple script like this

#! /bin/bash
cd ~/.wine/fake_windows/Programme/Traktor\ DJ\ Studio\ 2/
exec wine TraktorDJStudio2.exe

and save it as traktor or whatever you want and do

Code:

chmod u+x traktor

then move it to /usr/bin (note that you may have to do it as root)

Code:

su <your root password>
mv traktor /usr/bin

after that add an entry to your kde menu and as the command put "traktor" and try to run it that way

PS. I'm just starting with bash scripts so it may not work
