Just to clarify... you have only remote access to the machine, and you want to install a new OS while connect to it remotely? You cannot install a new OS on the bare metal while remote-controlling it. You could install it in a VM though. Maybe VirtualBox or vmware?
The answer for your first question is, yes!!
I have a eRIC card installed on the server side which i sprovide by the company (whickh they do not give support)
The file (trixbox-2.2.9.iso) is already there. I can access the server using a remotely ..But again I DON have a clu how to do it.
I am testing the trixbox on VMware on my Pc in here.. If I could run a VMware there I think it wouyld be easier
Well, you simply can't re-install the OS remotely, so I think a VM of some sort if the only real option. That or maybe the people at the hosting company will help you accomplish this, but I cannot speak for them.
Reaaly??
I can not install a OS remotaly?
I can try the VMware any Idea how to start remotaly?... as I can only see a black screeen..
Sorry to bother you
Allex
I know I can not help regarding the remote installation of Operating System, but just to tell you that you can use remote desktop using humingbird network and to export the output of a screen on your host. If you are only interested to use gui (Graphical User Interface) instead of a linux shell.
