Is there a program similar to that used in a web browser that will "auto fill" text??
I notice i type repetitively the same things over and over.. curious to know if there is some sort of desktop wide program that will remember the things I type and create an auto fill feature similar to that used in web browsers?
Not sure, but the Klipper tool for KDE desktop might be an example of what you're looking for, or come close. You don't say what Linux you're using, or with what desktop, but there's probably similar tools that don't need a bunch of KDE installed if you aren't using KDE.
