[SOLVED] Installing OpenSUSE11.2 on Dell Perc H310 RAID Controller

Hi All,

I am new to Linux. I am trying to install OpenSUSE11.2 on T5600 Dell workstation with Perc H310 RAID Controller. But it doesn't detects HDD. I called Dell, but they dont have drivers for it.

Any one can help me to install it. Please provide step by step procedure.

OpenSUSE 11.x is really old, Why don't you try OpenSUSE 13.1 that is most recent release from that distro.

According to this document: http://www.dell.com/downloads/global...spec-sheet.pdf, Dell does support Perc h310 on SLES 11.2. You may want to go back to Dell and ask them what "support" means in this case.

Or you could google for "perc h310 linux". Plenty of results; I am sure you will find what you need.
