installing counterstrike


hi

i am very new to Linux Mandrake

i recently downloaded and installed Wine

now i want to install Counter STrike

how do i do it

i clicked on counterstrikesetup.exe on the cd
but nothing happens. only wine icon shows up for a while and disappears

any help or suggestion will be very much appreciated.

MayBE ...

Try /usr/bin/winemine ......
if thisgives you a weird version of Winmine ... then Wine seems to be workin ...
with this icon thing .. donno .

I always open a terminal and type
"wine" plus the location of the executable ... e.g. if the program "foobar.exe" is in /data1/Test/
then it would be :

wine /data1/Test/foobar.exe

Do "whereis wine" .... maybe somethin like below might appear :

/usr/bin/wine /usr/lib/wine /usr/share/man1/wine.1.gz
Go through the man-pages ... & similiar .
