What did you do to get the zorin installer to boot to install the first time around?
I was able to install using the USB method provided in your link. During installation and near the end of installation, I received an error that the drive was full. When the computer restarted I could never get past this screen:
Do you have anther system that you can reinstall the zorin live iso to the usb? If not maybe you can use the boot-repair usb.
Yes, I have a separate laptop. So you're saying I can delete the contents of the USB with the zorin installer in it, and use Rufus again to put the Zorin installer on the same USB?
when you get there select the "Erase disk and install Zorin" option and press "Install Now".
When I selected that, this window popped up:
"Write the changes to disks?
If you continue, the changes listed below will be written to the disks. Otherwise, you will be able to make further changes manually.
WARNING: This will destroy all data on any partitions you have removed as well as on the partitions that are going to be formatted.
The partition tables of the following devices are changed:

The following partitions are going to be formatted:

I pressed continue.
This is going to choose the drive with enough space on it right? Like what you mentioned earlier? I thought this was the same screen I had the first go around. Must be seeing things.
When I had installed it the first go around and it didn't work and I mentioned it overheated... I noticed the metal around my keyboard looked dark and was not sure if it was there before. Could the overheating have caused permanent damage or would my computer not be working right now while it's installing if that was the case?
I don't know why it is running hot, did a quick search and couldn't find nothing that stood out. Does it have duel graphic cards?

This is going to choose the drive with enough space on it right?
Normally the installaion does. You only have the one hard drive inside and only the zorin live usb plugged in?
You may have chosen the option to install along side of windows, and it will look similar.
