installed fc6 on seperate partition, same hard drive with xp, fc6 wont boot
I recently installed fedora core 6 on the same hard drive as winxp. I installed on seperate partition, that I built using acronis disk dir. Install went fine but now I cannot get fedora to boot, even when using dual OS program on disk dir. I should also mention that my hard drive is SATA that is run through PCI host card (my mainb board only supports IDE)I'm sure this is where my problem is. Maybe using a boot disc would help? Any suggestions would help thanx
You are lucky that tbutttbutt has responded to your question unlike the very many who wouldnt even deign to leave a punctuation mark as a token of response to your appeals for help.
I figured solution myself, tbutttbutt is only won who even offered reply(thanx)-no one else had any thing to say?
LQ is a volunteer site, its not a job, so you see the members come and go whenever they like, some like to reply, some like to ask and some like to watch
But, at the same time, we have grown to respect and expect more from this community so much that the possibility of a limited, or no response, to our queries make us fret and fume :-)
