install gnome but no extras?!?!

hi..I installed emerged gnome for gentoo linux. But there are errors saying that things like themes, sound etc may not work. I have emerged certain things like mozilla and even gnome-session separately. But I cant figure why it didnt install with Gnome and why these errors occur.

So, you have chosen a manual distro. A distro which offers great customization, where everything is up to user. And the first thing you do is complaining: too bad, everything is manual? Why Gentoo then?!?!
