Unhappy in backtrack no internet connection


am using backtrack 5 in virtual machine on my win8.
i can't connect internet through backtrack.
if i will type "ifconfig" in terminal it wil show only
lo.............

eth0,wlan0 these are not visible!!

i tried "airmon-ng" , it doesn't shows anything!

how can i connect internet via wifi,plz reply

If you want to connect through Wifi you have to use an USB Wifi dongle and pass that through to the backtrack system. How to do that is described in the manual of your virtualization software.

i dont have usb dongle,,,so can u give me suggestion to connect through LAN cable.

Using an Ethernet cable to connect to a LAN on the host means that it should work automatically on the guest if you have configured the VM to use NAT or Bridged mode for the network.
