i want to connect oracle remote database by isql. i have connected it by isqlplus.


Hi,

I need to connect Oracle remote database by isql using unixODBC. i have connected remote oracle by isqlplus using instant client now i need to connect remote oracle by isql Kindly suggest me some solutions or URL Link.

I am facing this issue.

[IM002][unixODBC][Driver Manager]Data source name not found, and no default driver specified
[ISQL]ERROR: Could not SQLConnect

Did you try putting the error into Google first??? If you did, you'd have found it, with suggested solutions, from the unixODBC forums:

You don't provide ANY details (version/distro of Linux, how you've installed the odbc drivers, config files, logs, etc.), so there's not much anyone can tell you.
