I/O error when copying (some) NTFS files

on my computer I have an (old) NTFS
partition (win XP) and I want to copy the data
on my ext3 volume.

I've mounted the ntfs volume and try to copy the files...
at some files it works fine, but on
other files the copy job ends with
an I/O Error:

[root@trinity 3 Doors Down (Away from thesun)]# cp
03-3_doors_down-the_road_im_on-rns.mp3 /home/myhome
cp: Lesen von 03-3_doors_down-the_road_im_on-rns.mp3:
Eingabe-/Ausgabefehler

I've RedHat9 with kernel 2.40.20-8 installed.

Any guess about that problem ?
