I have xp & ubuntu onmy system i have lost my grub loader

i have xp & ubuntu on my system while formatting ubuntu with fedora pendrive os i have lost my grub loader .there is problem in my dvd writter thats why i can't use cd or dvd. now I am unable open either of os. because pendrive os is not proper while formatting it is giving msg there is no iso image on hard drive store the iso image and retry. my system showing the msg rescue grub >.plz help me.

Not sure I understand correctly but if you need to get into the system without a cd drive you could try puppy linux. If you have another computer you could install it onto a usb drive.

Otherwise try to press e at the grub screen and you can edit it to point to your os from there.
