I have Installed TCL but cant TK please help this NooB
Hi, I'm v.v.v.v new to linux only installed it the other day... and i want to use my fav IM program (msn messenger) so i downloaded amsn...
as i found out u need tcl and tk installed to be able to use amsn
some how in the early hours in the morning i managed to install tcl but i really cant remember how i did it! but today I'm trying to do the same with tk.. i do ./configure --prefix=prefix && make && make install
and at some point it brings errors! error 1 i think..
i would be really grateful if i can have a step by step to install tk..
or id like to reinstall both tcl and tk the correct way
or even better be told what i have done wrong as well
Ahh i thinks i know why? dont i have to not delete the tcl source folder before installin tk !? also configure the file and type which dir tcl config.sh is?
