i am not able to install anyy packages..help me get out of this?


E: Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages.
E: Unable to correct dependencies

How to fix this

You've not given us much to go on.

1.) What distro are you using?
2.) What packages exactly can't you install?
3.) How were you trying to install them? Command line? Package manager?

Show us exactly what you did, a couple of lines from the log don't tell us what you did.
